Thomas was my granda and he was sadly taken from us on the 16th sep 2000 he had suffered a short illness of cancer. He had only been in hospital a few weeks when he sadly passed away from this horrible illness.My granda was a lovely friendly man and a good granda to all his grandchildren he would`v done anything for anybody he always put people before himself. He was a long serving member of the Ulster Defence Regiment and went onto be a member of the UDR Assocation for past members. Everyone that new my granda always had a good word to say about him he was well known and liked by many many people and his passing left alot of people saddened. He left behind a wife called sally (who sadly also passed away with the same illness on the 3rd aug 2007and is also on GTS) who he loved very much. He has a son called thomas who is married and has 3 children who is myself (kirsty) my younger sister ashleigh and older brother lee, Lee has a wee daughter called Jessica-lee and she is nearly 6mths but sadly my granda didnt get 2 see her. He also has a daughter called pauline who is also married and has 2 children called devon and brooke.
